10/24/21
Good Evening Roosevelt Families,
I cannot believe we have reached the
last week in October. We have a lot of excitement coming
up this week! As always, please let me know if you have
any questions or concerns. I am glad I have been able to connect
with numerous parents through our site leadership teams, our
principal town halls, and one on one conversations when needed.
Student Led Conferences / Minimum
Days on Oct 26th and 27th
- While we would have
preferred to welcome parents to campus, in order to be as safe
as possible, we will not have Student Led Conferences on
campus at this time
- Students have been
working on their reflections in their classes and can complete
their reflection at home if needed
- The most important
piece is that students will then share their reflections with
their parents on Monday or Tuesday after school
- Parents will be
able to reach out to teachers; email is the best way to
communicate with teachers if there are any questions or
concerns. I have enjoyed reading and hearing student
reflections, feel free to have your child share their
reflections with me!
- As a reminder, the
school day will end at 2:14 pm on October 26th and 27th
- This will allow
our teachers time to connect with those parents who reach out

Rainy Day Preparations
- It is possible we
will have rain during lunch tomorrow
- When this happens,
students can eat underneath covered areas outside, in the
library, in our auditorium/theater, and in select classrooms
- When eating
indoors, we will have a strict 6 feet distance between
students requirement, and will need to wear a mask immediately
after they finish eating
- Students will need
to write down the names of the students they eat lunch with in
order to answer contact tracing questions if needed
- Please have
your student bring their waterproof bags that we provided for
laptops!
Updates from Nurse Frances
- Please sit with
your student and go over contents of their back packs.
We are seeing students carrying very heavy back packs -
please have them carry only what is necessary; textbooks are
in the classrooms!
- During this
pandemic, it is imperative that you do not send your students
to school with any symptoms of illness that might possibly be
Covid related.
- This means
student must look and feel healthy: no coughing, sneezing,
runny nose or congestion, sore throat, headache, red eyes.
We will have to call you to come get your student, and
require a negative Covid test along with no symptoms to
return.
- Even if they are
vaccinated - they must still be healthy to be on campus.
- Please help us
keep everyone on campus healthy. Thank you!

Dates Calendar
Me
pregunta o inquietud. He disfrutado leyendo y escuchando las

- Ayúdenos a mantener
saludables a todos en el campus. ¡Gracias!
excelencia diaria.
